Stage By Stage
The preparation is the job. Coating a car that has not been properly decontaminated and corrected locks the defects in for the life of the coating, so none of the stages below are optional.
Wash, decontamination wash, then a clay and chemical decon to lift bonded contamination the wash cannot reach.
Swirls, haze and defects corrected under inspection light so the coating goes over clarity rather than over damage.
Surfaces wiped down and checked under light, because a coating will not bond to anything left behind.

The Approach
Coatings are chemistry, and chemistry cares about conditions. Detail 2 Drive works out of a fixed, fully climate controlled studio in Pakenham rather than a driveway or a customer's garage, so temperature, dust and moisture are controlled through preparation, application and cure. That is the part a mobile operator cannot replicate no matter how good their product is.
Jesse carries the high end work himself and has over ten years behind him, on everything from daily drivers to some of the most expensive cars on the road. He is accredited with the best brands in the country, and the same preparation runs on every car regardless of what it is worth.
No coating goes on until the paint underneath is right. If your car needs more correction than the package allows, you will be told before the work starts, not after.
