Stage By Stage
A detail is a run of stages, each one a separate piece of work. This is what the car goes through.
The dirtiest part of the car is dealt with before anything else, so none of it ends up back on clean paint.
Pre wash, contact wash and decontamination to lift what a normal wash leaves bonded to the surface.
Paint dried and finished, with trim and tyres dressed so nothing is left looking flat next to the work.
Vacuum, surfaces, vents, console and door cards worked through, then finished rather than just wiped over.
Both faces of every window cleaned, which is the step most often skipped and the easiest to notice.
The car checked over under the light rig before it is handed back, not in a dim driveway at dusk.
The Approach
Every job happens inside a fixed, fully climate controlled studio in Pakenham. That means no wind blowing grit onto a wet panel, no working around the weather, and consistent light to inspect under from the first stage to the last.
Jesse runs the studio and does the work himself. Over ten years in, on everything from work utes to supercars, and the same process on both. Customers come to the studio rather than the studio coming to a driveway, which is exactly why the finish is repeatable.
If the car needs correction rather than a detail, you will be told. A detail makes a car clean, it does not remove scratches, and being clear about that up front is how you avoid disappointing someone at handover.

Wheels, tyres and arches are the dirtiest part of the car, so they are dealt with before anything else. Do them last and the brake dust and road grime end up back on paint you have already finished.
