Detail 2 Drive is Jesse's studio, and he carries the high end work himself. More than ten years in, on everything from work utes and family four wheel drives to Lamborghinis and McLarens, with the same preparation running on all of them.
He built the business around a fixed studio rather than a van because the result is simply better in a controlled space. When you book, you deal with him directly: he quotes the car, he does the work, and he hands it back.

Each tier builds on the one before it. Ceramic Shield covers full decontamination, preparation and coating of the exterior paint. Ceramic Deluxe adds wheel coating and glass coating. Ceramic Platinum adds a full interior ceramic coating, so the cabin sits under the same 8 year warranty as the paint.
05Does My Car Need Correction Before Coating?
Every car gets a full preparation and decontamination process before any coating is applied, and correction is part of that. A coating is clear, so anything left in the paint stays visible underneath it for the life of the coating. Correcting first is what makes the gloss worth protecting.
06Can You Coat A Brand New Car?
Yes, and new cars are still prepared properly first. Delivery marks, transport contamination and dealer wash swirls are common on cars with barely any kilometres on them, so the paint is inspected under light and corrected as needed before the coating goes on.
07Do You Work on Utes and Four Wheel Drives Too?
Yes. The studio sees everything from work utes and family four wheel drives through to supercars, and the same process runs on all of them. What changes is the size of the job, not the standard it is held to.

10How Should I Wash My Car After A Ceramic Coating?
Keep it simple and keep it gentle. A pH neutral shampoo, two buckets, a clean wash mitt and drying with a soft towel rather than letting the car air dry. Avoid automatic car washes with brushes, because the coating protects the paint from contamination, not from being scrubbed with someone else's grit.
